Earthquake Aid

In the days following the earthquake on 25th April 2015, Shree delivered over 30 tonnes of rice and hundreds of tarps and tents to remote villages. He was in the area worst hit by the earthqauke within 6 days of the disaster and continued until June when the rains made the roads impenetrable. Once the rains came, Journey Nepal team started planning the rebuilding of the Fulkharka school classrooms that had been destroyed.

Journey Nepal Australia raised AU$18000 in the weeks following the earthquake and Journey Nepal in Nepal has had thousands of dollars of donations from all over the globe including Russia and Switzerland.
