Journey Nepal and Child Reach teamed up to provide the secondary schools in Fulkharka with computers.  The program was a collaboration between Microsoft Innovation Centre Nepal, Nepali Government and ChildReach and involves those parties providing US$1400 and all the support, training and warranties for the computers.  Journey Nepal provided the additional US$600.

This means two schools in the area now have 12 computers each available for teaching. The principal and teachers receive full training and support for three years.

This initiative will make an enormous difference to this community.

The school where the computers were located was mostly destroyed by the earthquakes, but the computers and the building that housed them survived intact.
